Basic Recovery Workshop January 4, 2020

A Basic Recovery workshop is being offered:

Saturday, January 4, 2020 from 9:30 AM to 4 PM at Richmond Beach Congregational Church, 1512 NW 195th Street, Shoreline, WA. 98177 (downstairs, southwest end).

This workshop is open to all S-program members, family and friends (18+). Using the guide outlined by Wally P. In his Back to Basics books, workshop attendees will be taken through the 12 steps of recovery in one day in much the same way as those early A.A. members did. Each person shares with someone in their program.

Come to experience 12 step recovery for the first, second, or more time. We encourage you to bring your sponsor or come to be a temporary sponsor for the day.

Please plan to bring a Potluck lunch item, your own water, snacks, paper, pens and highlighter. A donation of $5 per person is suggested (your sponsor doesn’t pay) to cover room rental and a few expenses.

Meetings Schedule

“Go to a meeting. Someone will bring what you need to hear.”

Meeting times and locations sometimes change without notice. For additions, deletions, or corrections to this schedule, please email

“Closed” v.s. “Open” meetings

Because of the sensitive nature of sexual addiction, many of our groups are ‘closed,’ meaning that only those with a desire to stop addictive sexual behaviour may attend. Others interested in finding out about SAA may attend ‘open’ meetings.
Translation: If you are seeking help for yourself (and not for a friend, spouse or family member), you will be welcomed at a Closed meeting. This includes both men and women at any Mixed meeting
